About Karaffa Luck Designs...

Karaffa Luck Designs began as a mother–daughter creation long before it ever became a business.
When I was a child, my mom, Linda, started a crafting business with her close friend Sue. Together, they created everything from handmade hair accessories and wood signs to clay figures, ornaments, glasswork, candles, invitations, and more. Crafting was my mom’s calm, her happy place, and something she poured her heart into. I grew up beside her—helping create products, spending weekends at craft fairs, and learning that creativity was something meant to be shared.
In 2015, I encouraged my mom to officially take the business online. We named it Karaffa Luck Designs, inspired by our family’s longtime inside joke about our famously bad luck—something we affectionately called “Karaffa Luck.” The name even came from a tattoo I had, which my mom photographed and then hand-drew into the original logo at her craft table. What began as an ironic joke slowly became something much more meaningful.

Karaffa Luck Designs launched online with greeting cards, with plans to expand into many of the handcrafted pieces my mom had created over the years. But life changed, and after my mom passed away, the business paused.
For years, Karaffa Luck Designs sat quietly. I kept the website and social media accounts active, leaving every post my mom had made—unable to close the chapter, but not yet ready to continue it either. Grief took time. Looking at the logo felt heavy. Touching the business felt overwhelming.
But creativity never left.

While Karaffa Luck Designs was paused, I continued designing in other ways—creating websites, flyers, logos, and content for businesses. Over time, I realized that creativity had simply taken a new form.
In 2025, something shifted. I was ready.
I decided to bring Karaffa Luck Designs back—this time shaped by who I am now, while still honoring where it began. I knew I no longer wanted to hand-make physical crafts, but I deeply loved design, business, and creating meaningful products for families. Most importantly, I wanted to carry forward my mom’s greatest value: family always comes first.
The first product in this new chapter is a growth chart—chosen intentionally, thoughtfully, and with care. It’s a product designed to help families slow down, reconnect, and preserve moments that matter. It reflects my mom’s love for memory keeping, her habit of giving, and her belief that time together is more important than anything else.
Today, Karaffa Luck Designs exists to support parents, grandparents, and gift-givers who cherish family time and meaningful moments. Every product is created with the intention of bringing families together, encouraging presence, and expressing love in simple, lasting ways.
This brand is my way of continuing what my mom started—not by recreating the past, but by carrying her spirit forward.
